Souvent quand on parle de rhum agricole on pense aux rhums blanc. Mais il n'y a pas que et le Karukera joue dans la cours des grands.

On the nose this rhum reveals nice fruity notes of mango, plums, grapes and some pineapple in the distance. At the first palate the spiciness and notes of pepper are quite present, even dominant. However the fruity notes reappear with the finish which is mid-long- to long-lasting. With the 2nd / 3rd sip the spiciness of the palate scales down and the fruity notes are much more present together with the grassy notes so typical for a rhum agricole. So judging for the first sip only I would have given this rhum a 7 grade, but given the nice fruity notes which are revealed when enjoying the rhum for a longer period of time I rate it with an 8.

J'ai un peu de misere avec les.rhums agricoles, mais les aromes sont savoureuses

On n'achète pas ce rhum pour sa bouteille qui reste on ne peut plus basique.

Au nez, il dégage de belles et intenses saveurs d'épices et de boisé.

En bouche, il est assez plaisant. Beau boisé sur la longueur et une attaque très franche.

Un rhum tout à fait plaisant pour son prix.

En bouche, de la canne et des fruits exotiques accompagnés de ce qu'il faut de boisé. Plutôt facile à boire pour un agricole. Clairement recommandable à la distillerie. Un peu cher en métropole.

Un rhum rond et équilibré, on au nez c'est la canne le bois et les fruits mures comme la banane qui ressortent. Très agréable !
