A sugar-free 25-year old, ultra premium rum that is sustainably produced (Carbon Neutral & Fair Trade certified). From a 5th generation family estate, it is naturally aged without artificial ingredients, distilled 100% with renewable energy and KOSHER certified. A full-bodied rum with a long and smooth finish that lingers in the palate. Best enjoyed neat or on a rock, and paired with 70% cocoa chocolate.

End of bottle. Toasty nose with a hint of hazelnut. Grilled flavours in mouth and long smooth finish, more buttery, balanced. Not a favorite but a good rum.
its so fine and well balanced wood caramel its just amazing
This is my top rum, my wife got it for me for our wedding.
8-The nose gives off fine notes of oxidised fruit. The toasted wood and roasted nuts are quite dry and almost charcoal-like. The woodiness is also spicy and fragrant, like cedar wood. The maple syrup is both caramelised and woody, and then a little freshness comes in as a surprise. It seems to come from the coconut and its slightly milky water, which leads us towards something creamier like a vanilla crème brûlée or a butterscotch.
8-The palate is soft and quite balanced and tasty. The caramel is rich, leaning more towards its Breton version with salted butter. The molasses covers a wood that seems more fragile than on the nose, the cocoa and coffee remind us of an Irish Coffee, renamed Caribbean Coffee for the occasion.
7-On the finish, coffee, liquorice and cocoa linger, with some vanilla at the very end.
Little bit expensive but really good !
Have to try this one!
My best 10th choice.
Good rum. But for this price I expect more tast. I miss the deep flavours in this rum
I really enjoy this. My top sipper, for now. It’s pricey but you have to pay deliciousness
WOW!!! Flor de Cana makes some fantastic rums. I don't think that this rum is really any better than the 130th anniversary 20 year rum which I also rated a 10 and this 25 year cost $60 more. Actually I am not sure how any rum can be better than the 20 year regardless of the price. I made a choice not to give any points or take any points from any rum based on price. If I rated value then this rum gets knocked down for sure but we are rating rums here not cost. Anyway, this rum is spectacular. Buttery smooth. Warming with no burn. Nowhere near an uncomfortable sweetness. A little smokey with light wood and the perfect blend of vanilla, toffee and cocoa mixed in. Aftertaste just lingers and the cocoa seems to carry the longest. Worth the price??? maybe. If you can find the 20 year save the $$$ and go for that but this 25 year is worth trying at least once. The 12 year also is a kick ass rum at 1/3 the price.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Top-notch flavors, beautiful color and aroma, smooth and naturally sweet. What's not to love in a rum this good? It's not just twice as good as the 12yo, it's much better in every way. A delicious and warming pleasure.
