Sweet smell og toffee, but not a lot of power. By all means a decent rum, but at the price you can get a lot better.

Not so complex like XOX, weaker body and more alcohol burn but for the price is worth to taste it.

Typical Oliver rum, a little sweet with nice smell. Good for occasional sipper who prefer sweeter than dry rums.

Má to jenom 38% a alkoholově to je velmi jemné. Není přeslazený, med, dřevo, ovoce vanilka. Chutnal mi, až jsem se trochu styděl.

A blend of rums from the Dominican Republic at 38%ABV strength, which is quite common strength for Oliver's rums. These are solera up to 12 year old rums that have been aged in French oak barrels.

Nose: It's typical Oliver - vanilla, citrus, caramel, coffee, flowers and smoked wood.
Flavour: Smooth, sweet with a hint of wood. There are vanilla, orange, sweet coffee, dried forest fruits, pepper and oak wood.
Finish: Medium-long.

Finish: This is a pleasant Spanish-style rum that is not over-sweetened and is very smooth in flavour. A good rum for a relaxing evening sipping.

Excellent beginner rum with sweet and a woody notes. If you're not prepared one might think you're sipping a Cognac or Brandy. Actually a bit too sweet for my taste, but a pleasing short drink for most.

I wasn't expecting much in this price and 38 ABV. But in Oliver & Oliver they know what they're doing and created perfect consumer grade sipping rum. Not strong, not bold in exploring interesting tastes, but sticking to the pleasant smell of sugar cane, toffee, vanilla and nip of chocolate, super sweet taste with bit of bitter spices on the end. Sweet bakery, bit burned caramel, little bit of fruity acidity (overriped fruit). It goes down smoothly and I think this must be favorable all on consumer level.
