Easily enjoyed on the rocks. Special with coke. Good hints of vanilla and spice. Definitely want to enjoy this one again.

Unfortunatelly, was to sweet, sugar and vanilla added. Poor persistence.

A bottle of Punta Cana Ron Viejo enjoyed in Puerto Plata. Please note the picture on this rum review main page is the Ron Muy Viejo, which is another product. Ron Viejo is just 64 Proof which is very easy to consume in a hurry. Bottle and label design are very nice, old school. Surprisingly dark color. Quite sweet to the nose and palate. Borderlining too sweet to be frank. No burn at all.

This is without question the best rum in the market for the price you pay. For less than 20 bucks you get to enjoy a really good, smooth and great tasting Dominican rum. Its not available everywhere but if you see one boy a few bottles cuz its woth it

Like the silver, great flavor, no bite, touch of sweet. I have not found anything like it since coming home. I look forward to finding a way to secure another bottle to share this time!
