This Australian rum comes from a secret distillery. I know only two, one is Bundaberg, which it is guaranteed not, because Bundie is much milder. The other one I know is Beenleigh, which is imported more often, eg also from Plantation. Possibly it is Beenleigh, but even if you hardly believe it, there are countless other smaller distilleries in Australia.
I am very surprised by this rum, as it delivers a very strong performance.
It has only 43%, but seems like a cask strength. Maybe it's because you're dealing with a single barrel here, with no additives or sugar. This rum reminds me very much of a strong Jamaican. It has decent funk, comes along both spicy and with fruity notes.
The price is about 70 euros, which is fine for an 11 year single barrel. I was lucky and had an offer for 59, - euros.
