This is a Hampden like high ester NY like the RA NY 2009.

Smell: Bright and sweet aromas. Glue, sweet pineapple, nail polish remover, fruits like apple. It's quite sharp in the nose. Vanilla pudding and fresh wood. Some salty notes, like salty sea.

Taste: It starts very sweet with fresh pineapple, some grassy aromas and glue. It tingels some time on the palet, it's quite sharp. Then malty notes, still the pineapple, nail polish remover, some fresh wood. Some tannins in form of bitter notes. The finish is very spicy, grilled pineapple, ripe melon or mango, malt, glue.

Aftertaste: pineapple, apple, glue, some salty prune

This rum is very sharp and it's high ester is like Hampden C<>H or DOK. Very fruity with a lot of glue.
I would say it's a Hampden in a blind tasting. It's like Kill Devil Hampden 10y 2007.
