Opthimus Port Finish 15-Year

Very smooth rum. Top of the line Oliver and Oliver rum. Lot's of ripe fruit, vanilla and some spices. Very good neat. 8/10!

The more often I try him - they more I grow to like him. Will buy again

To be honest i did expect more based on the price and it is produced by Oliver & Oliver. The price was almost 65 Euro for the bottle and I could get better Rum for that money. But is still good! round with long aftertaste but I miss the little extra to it.

The smell and taste is mainly of vanilla and overall it's a pleasant rum. However in the price range I think there is some better alternatives. (Paid 5,50 euro/cl in a bar.)

It just doesn't quite work. It's nice enough but not a patch on some of their other rums. I'd like to try the 25 year to see why it's so much better.

Nice tones of port but with a plain body. Not so sweet

This is a very delicious sipper: reddish brown color, aromas of dark red berry, grapes and a hint of vanilla. And then you got this great Port cask finish aftertaste which leaves you longing for more.

I tasted this with 4 other aged rums. It continues to be my favorite as the taste is so smooth.
