(9. December 2019 i MacY)

This makes for an incredibly drinkable high end old fashioned. It's not punchy. It's not brash. It's just solid and it works. By itself this rum is very pleasant and smooth. You'd swear it wasn't 40% abv. All around a good and simple high end rum.

This rum was smooth and easy to drink. I prefer it neat with a couple drops of water added to bring out the flavors. It wasn't overly sweet but also did not have any kick to it. Nothing complex and nothing too special about it. I did enjoy it however I would not purchase a whole bottle.

A bit withdrawn smell. Balanced taste on the sweeter side with a hint of oak. The taste lingers long and the aftertaste us complex and pleasant

Simple isn’t a bad thing. I classify rums a simple and complex first, then into sub categories. Simple rums are unadulterated with excess flavors, sugar or colorings, complex rums have a wide range of flavor notes, colors and aromas.

All that said, this rum is lightly sweet in a natural way and has a good medium burn. It’s smooth and not harsh, and the nose hints of flavors without bashing you about the head with them.

The taste is not identifiable to me just yet, whether it’s indistinguishable or just beyond my palate, I don’t know.

Final impressions: this is a GOOD rum. It’s pleasant, not overly sweet and there is no offensive chemical additive taste to it. I liken it to a Zacapa just less so.

Smooth drink. Deep okay flavor. A bit of an after burn. Wasted with the mix

Tried a sample, it's easy drinkable but not a rum to remember.
