As a sipper I find it too sweet, unless it goes with a dessert. I haven't tried, but I bet it would be great to ris a la mande.
Nice Holidays mix from Riise. Sweet, nice spicy taste.
Sweet and festive. To sweet for some but enjoyable.
Something different but would not be more then a sezonal
comes in a little bit after danish navy strength A. H. Riise
Smakar som en riise. Man blir inte besviken men inte heller mycket bytt
Not much of a A.H. fan, but the first snif from the bottle makes me want to try it for sure… A definit “Christmas nose” of cherries, cinnamon, oranges and vanilla. A VERY sweet nose.
Not the most interesting bottle design, but it’l do the job i guess.
A dark amber color in the glas and slow running legs.
From the glass still a strong cherry nose with vanilla and orange coming through afterwards.
Sweet sweet sweet tast, but what else to expect from Mr. Riise :)
Taste of orange, vanilla and a hint of charred wood.
Still not a fan, but definitely one of the best rum from A.H Riise in my opinion.
Would probably go great with a sweet dessert, but as a sipper I have other go to rums, before choosing this one.
There’s is a lot going on in this one, and maybe just a little to much for my taste.
First time I bought an A. H. Riise (actually one of two different bottles) other than the 24-bottle calendar set. Colour was good, was a little sweet and non-descript for me, however it did taste very Christmassy - I actually bought it for the Missus after she enjoyed it from the calendar set.
(edit: had a more recent sip of this - bloody hell it's very sweet and very bland ! downgraded to a 5).
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

English style? Citrusy but over sweetened. Caramel, vanilla, ginger bread or some cookie dough stuff? Not top notch A. H.
