Nachdem ich ja schon Erfahrung mit dem Ultra Black Edition und dem Gold Medall gemacht habe, gönnte ich mir gestern den Navy. Ich bin begeistert. Der trifft absolut meinen Geschmack. Durch das absolut hervorragende aPreis- Leistungs Verhältnis, wird das mein neuer Favorit. Rund und süss im Geschmack angenehm im Mund nicht brennend im Abgang.

An amazing rum with notes of coffee, liquorice, burnt caramel, molasses and exotic spices with hints of bitter orange. The flavour of the rum is full-bodied finishing with a long, strong and sweet finish.

Sweet, round taste with powerful notes of licorice, chocolate and exotic fruits. "Navy" in the name is a bit confusing, but let's not hold it against the bottle.

I dont know if it is navy or even rum :) Reminds me Xmas Riise editions for girls. Sweet, no afteburn, with light touch of tobacco (Besides all fruits and sugar). Taste reminds me not so common Blue Mauritius a bit.

Jak ve vůni, tak v chuti jde cítit káva.
Ve vůni jde navíc cítit trochu lékořice.
Je to příjemný hutný rum.
Nice color, good aroma and a sweetened taste with a little bite…

A. H. Riise have risen in popularity in recent years, especially in my home country of Denmark, but the sad truth is, that this bottle have as little to do with rum as it has to do with Denmark.
Nose: Very sugary smell with notes of orange and a small hint of liquorice
Taste: Big load of sugar and caramel with small subtle hints of black liquorice and mocca
Overall: This is a very popular rum, but it is really not for me in any way. I simply don´t get the hype. It has little to do with both navy-style, Denmark or even rum in general.
