Like this one alot better then Riise's regular reserve. The sweetness, though still very much there, is turned down a bit. There's more complexity and body. On the palate you find thick caramel, dried fruits, a hint of orange and licorice

Klassisk Riise, der naturligvis er sød. Dog en anelse bedre end mange af de andre. Den mangler selvfølgelig det sidste riv fra navy strength, men ellers ok. Duft af appelsin, vanilje og kokos. Smag af appelsin og farin, som hænger ved i eftersmagen sammen med lidt varme.

Smagt igen i 2020: Et ord dækker duften. Appelsin! Måske et hint af mynte/ eukalyptus. Lidt lakrids og selvfølgelig appelsin i smag. Smager lidt af orangeknas. (17. December 2019 i MacY) opdateret 2022: alt alt for sød og derfor nedgraderet fra 7 og 6.

This is my fourth A.H. Riise rum and they all use the same general idea. It is very sweet and hides some interesting taste notes but it is not a "true" rum. If you liked any other rum from this brand, you'll not be disappointed.

Sladký rum. Chuť pomeranče a hořké čokolády. Někdo může cítí i skořici. Příjemná vůně. Neurazí, ale nepřekvapí. Pokud chcete pozvat ženu, nemusíte váhat

Yes it isn't your regular rum and yes it is too sweet. And although the fruity taste feels very artificial, it is pleasant and unique. The sweetness makes you have enough of it after one glass. Some people love the artificial rums dearly and if you're not a big fan of rums, you'll likely like this one. From it you might move on to harsher, more classic rums.

Simply skip this one and go for Navy Strength. This is so bad in comparison to it's stronger brother. All you taste is pralines... just pralines... super sweet pralines.

As a Dane i had to try this one. It’s good danish rum. But somehow the finest flavors are missing, its almost there, a good copy

This is a solid rum, but definitely quite sweet. Almost a bit syrupy and holds this rum back. It is very smooth though and drinkable neat. Vanilla and orange notes come through. Not as complex as I'd like.
