Perfectly aromatic vanilla notes. A fine amber mixer, but in British Columbia overpriced.

Not a sipper. Great with coke. For me just correct. Gently woodish, sharp, didn't found the chocolate and toffee (maybe a little in aroma not that much in taste) for which I was looking for.

($27 CAD) A nice, solid bottle with a twist of cap. At first I didn’t like the fact that it was twist off but it’s actually a really good, non-drip pour so I respect that.
The smell is pleasant with some fruits coming through. Taste was pleasantly surprising considering how cheap this rum was priced. I always have my reservations about pricing but this is just another example of how price doesn’t always equal value.
There is a healthy amount of fire for sure, but then a lot of flavour. The taste of molasses is strong, and with it comes some subtle fruits. Cherry and banana maybe? Then some of the spicier, leathery notes to settle in with the heat.
This is a solid, decently priced rum. Considering the layers of this rum, I’m very impressed and it just goes to show that Angostura knows what they are doing. If you want a more affordable, molasses based rum with layers for you to uncover, this one is for you. Cheers!

This was a perfectly pleasant taste, not so much afterburn, quite smooth on the tongue! Perfect for a Daiquiri, or and old fashioned.

Well balanced good rum. Good aftertaste. From the rum rums.

Found this one to be drier and less complex than hoped. As a 7-year, I would have liked more oak and threads of sweetness, whether vanilla or otherwise. It mixes very well for sure, but who wants to buy an aged rum to mix?

A little strong in the beginning and with smooth body with light vanilla aroma. The finish is the best part of this rum with even lighter vanilla aroma and smoother taste.

An excellent rum, good blend of flavours. Enjoyed it from first opening to the very last sip

A nice fresh aroma rich in flavor goes down very well. Good value better than some other more expensive rums

A high quality Rum. Very smooth. I feel that the flavour comes out in the aftertaste. It is best to be sure to appreciate it.

Slightly medicinal in flavour but a very nice drink for me.
