The first choice in an introduction to aged rum. Smooth with a bit of spice and a good finish.

I liked it. With some ice it is really good. Good price vs. taste.

Not bad. Just starting out. So a good starter rum. Had it on rocks. Took a bit to come in but after a bit was really smooth.

Even Angostura 7 is a relatively good rum I always mix it and mainly with coke or ginger.

This rum is hard to describe. It seems somewhat whiskey like but with subtle aromatic spice-like flavors that make it complex and interesting. I like this on the rocks with a little water as well as in cocktails like the Old Fashioned. It's not for everyone.

So far, it is my favorite of the Angostura House (and I have tried the 1919 and the 1824). Dry and mellow burn. Dark chocolate notes.

While not approaching the 1824 and 1919 expressions, the 7 years old is a fine everyday sipper on ice.

Not overly bold, there are some mellow burnt sugar, spice and marshmallow notes present with a warm creme brûlée finishing off the taste.

I will definitely keep this stocked in my person shelf - especially as a trainer for those beginning to appreciate sipping rum rather than guzzling it.

Bon rhum qui se laisse bien déguster tant il est savoureux, mais n'a rien de particulier en terme de découverte.

It's like 20$ a bottle, is it magical? No. Is it jet fuel? No. It's just good. Not something you would sip straight, it's harsh. However it is really good in coke. Similar to Appleton Estate V/x with more allspice feel to it.

This is one of those "my first rum" type of rum. Seasoned rum drinkers won't be very impressed by it nor disappointed.

For that price is not bad, i felt vanilla tones, but not too much
