A bit too strict with sweet tones...not to remember..
Un ron estándar que para mixear es muy bueno, en realidad hay mejores por el precio.
Light golden brown colour. Some apricot, bread, and maybe a hint of candied citrus on the nose. On the tongue it is dry, with some burnt sugar appearing. Somewhat of a bitter taste that I cannot place appears as well. Just enough burn going down to make it worthwhile. Mixes well with some ginger beer. But not good enough on its own to be a bargain sipper like El Dorado 12 or Havana Club 7,
Overall this is a decent enough rum, albeit slightly overpriced. On the nose I didn't pick up much to catch my attention. The taste is more or less the same and I would consider this a base standard for a sipping rum. Hints of vanilla sweetness for me. Finish is dry and a bit rough IMO. Probably better as a mixer/low end sipping rum.
For this price you can find also better rums. Despite that fact, it is not bad to either sip or to mix.
Its quite neutral. Can't really think of something special or negative
Not a sipper. Great with coke. For me just correct. Gently woodish, sharp, didn't found the chocolate and toffee (maybe a little in aroma not that much in taste) for which I was looking for.
If you like the unmistakable unique taste of Angostura rums, then go for whichever one of them your budget can afford. This one was $28. I personally think that their 1919 represents the best value and taste. This line of rums clearly falls into the Love Them Or Hate Them category.
Nutty burnt caramel aroma, "fiance adds sharpie to the smell", light brown rummy color, taste is smoother than some, coats the tongue, light hints of cherry. Nutty/oakey finish. Mixes really well, and pairs with bitters.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This run has a good character but the 7 years aged was not enough to take the bite out, has a little to much strength in the alcohol taste.
