Was a nice drink. I bought it with a friend, and it wasn’t as sweet as we were used to, however it was very good still

40% ABV, country of origin Panama

Very little information is available about this rum. I did not find any official website of the manufacturer. Maybe it's just a rebranded, more familiar product. The number 18 on the bottle will most likely indicate the oldest component of the blend. For a price of around 35 EUR (Czech Republic), you can't expect a full-fledged 18-year-old rum.

Bottle: Classic bulbous
Color: Pretty amber

Aroma: Sweet. Vanilla and oak barrels of bourbon can smell strongly. Furthermore, caramel, smokyness, overripe apricots and cloves.
Taste: Sweet and quite mellow, although a little stinging on the tongue. The sweetness is lower comparing to the smell. Again, the most noticable are vanilla, bourbon, caramel, sweet cocoa and wood. However, what is most typical for this rum is a strongly taste of apricot brandy.
Aftertaste: Pleasantly warm, but quite short.

Summary: It is a simpler rum for easy drinking. Strong apricot brandy in the taste and aftertaste. But it's worth a try.
