This is a very good molasse based rum from Reunion. I tried the second batch which was barreled in June 2003 and matured tropically until June 2019. Nosing reveals intense notes of ripe tropical fruits and tobacco, accompanied by spicy flavors. Palate is full bodied, dry and structured. The finish has a good duration and is dry, very aromatic with some bitterness. I really like this rum.
