Un rhum blanc de qualite, a consommer en punch, ty' punch....

Bon nez premier goût fruité
Mais on le sent descendre il est un peu trop brut manque de finesse à mon goût bien sur

Grassy but less character than martinique or guadeloupe rums. But performs adequately with coca cola and lime.

Rhum blanc traditionnel de la Réunion tirant 40°.
design : classique.
Nez : floral, canne.
Bouche : canne à sucre suivi par l'alcool.
Finale : pas grand chose hormis alcool
Moyen, à voir en arrangé.

I'm getting rotten pineapples and a hint of glue or paint thinner that reminds me of unaged Jamaican or agricole blanc (i.e. it's from aromatic esters, not from whatever makes really cheap booze smell like it does). Both remind me a lot of Wray & Nephew overproof, just more subdued. Issue is, I don't like Wray & Nephew at all.
Could work well in some cocktails or longdrinks, since it's certainly aromatic and not too rough (the glue-like, ester-y quality disappears pretty fast in a mix). Probably a 6 for people who actually enjoy this kind of flavor profile.
