Aye, this rum has an outstandin' smell. Vanilla, caramel, and a wee bit of oak really lead you to believe she be an honest and true rum. That be the trap, mates! As flavor goes, none of those come aboard. What you do taste be a dim fruitiness that be outmatched by the flavor of a very smooth alcohol - similar to somethin' a bit more over-proofed... or even moonshine. Some might mistake the alcohol burn for spiciness, but spices usually have a taste about them. Not this burn. She be smooth goin' down the hatch tho. Might this be a sippin' rum? No. Not terrible like some of the silver rums I've rated, but not terribly impressive either. Proceed with caution...
