The initial taste is good, but the blend of spices is off-putting and too much. Maybe mix it with coffee, but find something to mix it with.

but this is not what im looking for. nice taste that leans towards condensed milk. would like some flavors present and this cant replace the other cream liquors in my liquor cabinet. However it is very pleasant but lacks the character to stand by itself. Looks like the Bumbu cream ranks higher but im holding out for the Brinley Gold coconut liquor later. Save the RumChata for your coffee.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 11-19-23. My caveat is that this was past its expiration date. Looks like heavy cream in the glass. Nutmeg aroma. Flavor is tart, a bit sour. Then a bolus of ice cream sweetness with the requisite horchata taste. Too sweet and too thick for me. Not something I enjoy.

Tasted 8/7/22 at Laka Lono, sometimes you are so close to Admiral status you get desperate with your tastings, ugh.
From the notes: YUCK. Whatever. it is over now. WHY?????
Edit November 19 2023, probably from the same bottle
Appearance: watery yet creamy
Aroma: cinnamon
Flavor: still yuck

While not really a Rum, if you're looking for a Flavorful Sweet drink look no further. Good enough to drink on its own, however great to mix with Milk, Eggnog, Coffee, or any Creamy drink. Rumchata brings a Cinnamon taste along with its sweetness to any drink.

Bottle clearly lists that it contains artificial and natural flavors. Something tells me it is a lot more of the former than the latter though. But occasionally, like around the holidays, it is a nice drink that goes well with desert - especially apple pie or vanilla ice cream. This is not a rum - actually a liquor, that I would not consider buying at any other time other than Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a completely fine liquor for people that rarely drink alcohol and fine for those that do. So for a couple of times per year drink not bad at all.

While it is a rum product (and a tasty one at that,) I can safely say that I didn't take a sip and think, "Rum," as that's not really the point of this product, much like Kahlua and indeed, most coffee liqueurs. It's basically horchata with booze in it. It's delicious, try it!

Add to coffee. Make a funk White Russian. Must get for fall and winter!

Bon dans le café ou dans un dessert ou bien un cocktail.

Lait sucré à la cannelle. Peu alcoolisé et faible présence de rhum.
