RumChata is a unique entry of cream rums. Its good but with all these special types of rums its hard to rate them because this is a one of a kind type of thing. From the bottle it smells like cinnamon and nothing else pouring it into a glass comes out like eggnog so its on the thicker side. Drinking the shot by itself is strange, it is a very nice amount of cinnamon, cream base and sugar and that's really about it. It's thick but nothing offensive. I wouldn't drink this straight, it is just way too much sugar to take in at once. I mixed it with diet coke and it tastes exactly like an apple fritter desert. It's good but not a rum.

Typically I don’t purchase this class of liquor but decided to give it a go nice for after dinner that many may find suitable.

Was new to me, id never heard of it and was intrigued by a rum based cream liquour,
I got told to mix this with fire eater (cinnamon liquour) and it will taste like alcoholic cinnamon buns,

On view it’s very white, wasn’t expecting that as the cream liquors I’d had before were more yellow/brown in colour

Agree with a lot of comments regarding alcohol level, bit low but overal enjoyed it,

I have only had this straight with lots of ice and finished my first bottle in a single night of slow and steady sipping. Unfortunately I cannot buy it where I live but looking forward to trying it a few different ways, including 50/50 with an espresso shot, on ice with extra rum added for a kick, in an affogato (espresso & ice cream) dessert, and in a Root Beer Float (apparently A&W ginger beer works - see FAQ on the Rumchata website).

Loved this from the get go. Better alternative to Bailey's and up there with 1921's tequila cream i also prefer. Love the cinnamon taste.

Whether straight or mixed, this is always a holiday favorite. Smooth, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg. You can't go wrong with this.

It's good for what it is. I use Rumchata and blue chair bay cream and all irish creams for one thing ,that is for Hot Chocolate!!!

Mix with Hot Chocolate, first tried in 2015. The Zaya Gran Reserva has rum synergy with Hot Buttered rum while we are on the subject of sweety drinks.

Despite being rum basted, I taste very little rum in this despite the slight burn. Very good in creamy cocktails though. I dont suspect many people purchasing this thinking its a sipping rum. Vague cookie taste.
