NR: A little bit too bitter Caroni, but still a good one

I get leather, gum, some aceton, sweet notes of caramel. Very concentrated nose, I think this cask was not bad. Further dry orange peels and oak. It was aged in two different casks, I think the blender has made a great job.
Dirty start, the taste is not as sweet as the nose. I get gum, then very bitter tannins, salt, earth and hints of caramel. The middle is also very bitter with tannins, hints of caramel, earth, wood and some orange peels. It's too bitter, but you get used to it.
In the finish is spice, tannins, hints of caramel and orange peels.
It's more complex than the usual Caronis, but also a little bit too bitter first. The nose was great, but the taste is not on the same level. Maybe it needs more abv to push the aromas.
I would rate it with 84 points.
