Foursquare Master Series Edition No 1 12-Year

Foursquare rums are getting harder and harder to find in Florida. I pre ordered 2 bottles from concierge sales at Total wine and was not overwhelmed. It’s a very good rum but during two sampling two of us agree it’s not a 2008, or Nobiliary, Hereditas, or even Detente in my book.

I see a bottle made it to UK auction currently approaching $900 US, so might be a collectible.

Just sampled the FS MS No. 1 and my reaction is exactly what I expected. Beautiful complex rum, loads of flavours which lingers and lingers. Another 10.

nose is powerful
palate is rich, sweet, complex
finish for miles

Has already become an instant classic.
