It has a burn. You get oak on the nose, but you get heat on the tongue. Then you feel the rummy-ness. But then you get a metal/beet like taste aroma. It is better than Pyrat but not by much.
It does not improve with coke.
I had high hopes for an agricole, but sadly....
A very good rum and a very good introduction to rhum agricole. It has a gentle taste, aromatic and floreal. It reminded me a lot of a bourbon (which is not a bad thing for me). Nothing special if compared to other top quality rums, but still a good one
All I know is it’s very easy to drink. Went through half a bottle that evening before I realized it. Needs to breathe. I wouldn’t mix it
nice looking bottle, just 2 years in new oak barrels, it s not enough to make this a sipper, it s also very dry, don t know what to do with this, maybe with cola ?
some people compare dry rum to whisky, ok this one is like some too young single malt ...
Fransk stil. Konjak. Inte så rävig dock, och väldigt söt.
This has just a bit of grassy notes that is in the normal Clement agricoles. But the oaky finish adds a lot to profile of this rum. Definitely more for sipping.
Not something I sip but this is a great go to for dark agricol
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not quite an 8 but definitely better than 6. This is a fine candidate for a standard rum to represent at a soirée. It does display agricole trademarks such as pepper and grass though it's far more neutral than an XO offering.
Think Haagen Dazs Rum Raisin. Quintessential rum sugar flavor with a bit of bite. Smooth and creamy bottled at a pedestrian 40%. If your planning an upscale shindig and buying only one rum, consider this. Looking for something substantial, spend a little more, your not far from finer sippers.
