Clement Select Barrel

Very fresh, grassy and earthy taste. The nose is very harsh, not what I'm used to from other, molasses based rums. Can't say it is bad though, the essence can shine through that harsh agricole style. Was worth a try anyways.

I'm still learning to appreciate Agricole rhums but this one was a nice introduction. While not quite good enough for a sipper it's definitely nice enough for a mixer or a Ti Punch though a little expensive for that.

Ganska exakt vad jag förväntade mig efter att ha läst lite recensioner. Kan liknas mot bourbon kontra single malt. Lite fränare (främst smakmässigt, men även alkoholen, trots 40%)
Ingen sötma och ganska kort eftersmak. Helt OK men smakar för lite

I was a little hesitant about Agricole Rums, but this was a pleasant surprise. I can taste the pepper and grass with hints of vanilla and Bourbon notes with a little spice. I little different than your typical Rum, but not in a bad way

Normal agricole with grassy tone as expected on a pleasant aged rum background.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 12/22/19. Bronze in color. Strong apple aroma. Hot palate. Delicious blend of maple and grass. Smooth with a peppery finish. Very nice.

Light color, less alcohol to the nose, taste close to whiskey without any sweetness and little bit hard. Not a classical rum type for me

Im still not a fan of agricole rums so It is difficult to rate them. I dont like that smell and taste is something between brandy and rum. But this one is very smooth with hints of vanilla and fruit. Agricole lovers can add 1-2 points.

It has a burn. You get oak on the nose, but you get heat on the tongue. Then you feel the rummy-ness. But then you get a metal/beet like taste aroma. It is better than Pyrat but not by much.
It does not improve with coke.
I had high hopes for an agricole, but sadly....
