Not a typical TDL, tastes like a sweet solera rum

The nose is not typical TDL. I get dry fruits, sweet notes of caramel and burned sugar. I would gues it's a solera rum. The medical note is still there but not that clear that I would say it's a TDL.
Some cocoa, a medical note and some vanilla are in the nose. Not very complex overall, I miss the character of TDL. There are almost no heavy flavours left. I think it's a column still rum.
The taste starts sweet like a solera with dry fruits and caramel. It could be also a Zacapa. There is also a wine note, maybe an association with red fruits would be appropriate. Then I get vanilla with white oak and the rum turns spicy. In the middle I get more dry fruits with burned sugar, white oak and vanilla. The spicy note is over all flavors and tingeling in my mouth.
The finish is also spicy, a little bit medical, with vanilla, white oak and dry fruits.
It's an enjoyable but not a complex rum. It's too spicy overall. I would drink a Zacapa instead. I expected much more flavours from the 14y TDL, but I got only some Solera flavours.
I would rate it with 78 points.
