This is a fun blend from the two most important rum-producing countries at the moment.

Classic flavours of banana, fresh grass and grapefruit play with smoked rosemary, olive tapenade, seaspray.

Probably not as good as the individual rums that went into the blend, but definitely try it if you see it.

"Night Rambler is a high-ester white rum, blending the freshness of Haiti with the funkiness of long-fermented Jamaican rum." Other reviewer has noted that the rums are probably unaged Hampden and Clairin and the tasting also suggests that.

Nose: explosion of olives, brine, some smoke, banana, grass, cherry

Taste: First very strong bbq smoky sweet flavor, then again loads and loads of olives, brine, unripe banana, lots of grass, some tannic berryish dryness at the end. It does taste slightly watery in the finish but it is low abv afterall.

Excellent rum, not as complex and slightly less estery as the clairins but very decently so for a rum intended for mixing.
The hampden distillate does calm it down a notch but makes an interesting combo of flavours with the clairin. This rums is very heavy on the olive flavour so prepare yourself for that.
Im not sure what clairins this rum contains, most familiar note this has is the strong bbq smoky sweet flavour from the Casimir. However , after multiple mixing attempts i found this rum is too hard to mix, it doesn't shine in a painkiller, it doesn't shine in a navy grog or other tiki cocktails, it just tastes too acidic and astringently young to mix well with any tiki cocktail.
