You will notice the hints of fruit as soon as it hits your tongue. Not overly sweet but smooth with pineapple and fruit flavour that doesnt overpower but compliments the finish. Definitely one Id get again especially for the price. Will certainly continue trying other Plantation blends in the future with this pedigree.

The best way to describe it would be tough and tropical. No real sweetness to it. None in the nose, none in the taste. If you don't mind that - get a bottle. For the price and only about 3 years of age it's great.

I am amazed by the unique flavour of this rum. Has a lot of fruity flavours, but there is something to it that makes it very nice and easy to drink straight while not being too sweet. Great rum at a great price!

I can’t believe this was not listed yet here- had to add it. If you see it, grab a bottle or several!
Notes of butterscotch and pineapple on the nose, the initial taste is of orange peel and vanilla, some clove and blackberry almost.
Who knows?
All I can say is, I love this one! Best value I know of , next to their Xaymaca Extra Dry and maybe Doorly’s XO. All superb bang for the buck, but this is truly unique. Track it down. Try it.
I know I plan on laying in some backups for the brutal Florida winter!
