The Duchess 1998 Trinidad 21-Year

Another new release from the Duchess and yet another new release from Caroni. Bottled at cask strength and having spent a glorious 21 years in the barrel (Distilled 1998 and bottled 2019 - split between tropical and continental - heavy on the continental). 245 bottles made it out of this cask.

Aroma not agresive, but with typical Caroni tones of petrol, oil etc. combined with some fruity and flower tomes. Taste is strong mainly rubber, oil, tarry, petrol and wood. Long and complex finish with old wet basement and many similar tones you would expect from Caroni.
