This is a good flavored rum. Similar to the Blue Chair Bay Coconut, but with a heavy spiciness. I prefer the regular coconut, but this is good.

A bit weak for my liking at only 26.5%abv. Still, a decent flavored rum.

Tasted January 15 2024 at the Forbidden Hole
MLK Day
-2 degrees
Appearance: clear
Aroma: the aroma is coconut and a savory spice, perhaps sage; for a net effect of a reminder of summer time lavender limeade
Flavor: overpoweringly sweet, almost like a pineapple gummy bear but in the form of a rum.
Tasting notes: of the little bottles, this might be a favorite of mine but please note this is not a favorite rum. This beverage might be better described as sweetened candied spiced soda with some base alcohol thrown in. It can be sipped, and easily, but it's a liquid jello shot not a rum.

In the nipper bottle from Toys R Us Liquor for 99 cents. Tasted on 1-15-24. Pours clear. Mild aroma of coconut and a slight bit of mustard flower. Flavor has plenty of coconut but I’m trying real hard to discern what spices might be present. Very subtle clove, cinnamon and vanilla. I’ve tried a lot worse than this.

This rum was so easy to drink straight no mixer. Makes you forget that it is easy to drink too much. Hang over was intense.

Love this on the rocks, mix with OJ, Coke or Dr Pepper. Amazingly smooth.

This has nothing to do with a good aged rum so I will rate it as a liqueur. There is no rum flavour just sweet spiced coconut. It is better than Malibu and similar to Cruzan but with spice. Easy to drink but not preferred.

This spiced version of their coconut rum is much harder to find than the more popular coconut rum without spice. They have a great website to find out which merchants carry which flavors. I wish that all rum companies had this. Unfortunately, I had to drive way across town to a merchant that I do not care for and also pay a premium price of $21. Was it worth my effort? Not really! The spice is ever so faint, so I will just stick with the plain coconut from them. Ironically, in their Coconut Spiced Cream, the spice flavor is more dominant.

If you want to be transported to your favorite tiki hut, throw a little of this in a Coke and listen to the waves. Definitely not a high end sipping rum but perfect as a mixer. Probably stick to the plain coconut for pinas but great with soda. Light on the alcohol content so you can enjoy multiple drinks without drifting off!

If you are looking for a great sweet and spicy rum for your Coke look no further. Ever time I drink this I feel like I'm on the beach!

Fantastic rum, on par with their Coconut. Though I don't think there are many uses for it. Personally I'll throw it in Coke or Dr. Pepper if I'm craving something sweet. However the plain Coconut is better for other mixed drinks as the "spice" isn't very heavy and gets drowned out easily. Using Coconut Spice for mixed drinks just gets you a slightly muted coconut flavor in comparison.
