Un moelleux étonnant, la mise en bouche est très agréable ( le doseur est pratique), je gouterais surement le 8 un de ces jours !!!
Compared price-wise this would be the best rum to buy. But quality-wise it also stands out. Smooth and warm feeling in the mouth, not too strong aroma. Still have to compare it with the 10 year anniversary, but in the meantime, good enough for me!
doux, vanillé, pas très complexe, un rhum léger et à la fois plat en bouche il s'efface rapidement, on en redemanderai, il laisse en fin de bouche une sensation de frais, comme après avoir manger de l'estragon,
Smooth rum, goes down easy with a silky finish.
This ron drinks easy. Price quality is ok. If you go for older rum (above 7 years) then this might not be your choice. However it is a fine and better rum then the younger ones
Honestly took me by surprise. Not a bad drop. The flavor is not amazing and the flavor is good. Most importantly it is not overwhelming sweet.
For a beginner to Rum tastings it's perfect.
Lucky for me, my dad married a Colombian woman and goes to Columbia to see your family each year. He always bring me back a bottle or two so it's a staple in my house. Definitely a good option when I don't know what to drink.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Daniel's Review of Ron Medellin Gran Reserva

Today I finally try my bottle of Ron Medellin Gran Reserva delivered to me from Colombia. First, this rum has a lot more character than añejo. It is a smooth, sweet, but still light rum. Like añejo, it has a very mild flavor characteristic of bourbon but nothing like añejo. It has a slight taste of vanilla and Colombian sugar cane.
This is definitely a sipping rum as a would not dare mix this in anything.
