If there's a rum to have in your collection, this is one of them.made in copper pot still. You can really taste the molasses made from florida sugarcane.Excellent for sipping or with cola. They now offer tours of the distillary.
I loved the toasted coconut so I wanted to love the Spiced. Has a strong cinnamon finish that I am not crazy about.
This is my favorite rum currently. Smooth, great spices, not overly sweet. Great on the rocks or with Dr. Pepper. Almost has a holiday cookie/Graham cracker flavor. Made with real spices, not flavoring.
Oaky and Cinnamony but worth it! Have it at brunch or with your rum partners… it will sure please the crowd.
The spices are noticeable, but not completely overpowering...a little pricy to use as a mixer, this rum is 75 proof, so you could, without too much difficulty, get rid of the mixer and drink it straight
In the world of spiced rum this is a solid choice. Plenty of flavors to find. Not overbearing with sugar or syrup feel.
Nutmeg, baking spices....this is good stuff! For the price it's unusual but in a great way.
Very good for a spiced rum. You can definitely tell that they use real spices and not just an extract
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum has the most pronounced nutmeg flavor that I have ever tried. However, knowing what I know about the aftermath effects of nutmeg, I would not even think of drinking too much of this. A common practice on Caribbean party boats is to add lots of nutmeg to high proof rum punch. Everyone is very happy at the end of the trip and the tips flow more easily into the buckets with the tour guides grinning from ear to ear. And the next day, all of those party animals are all sick as can be with king hell headaches.
This is indeed one very tasty and unique spiced rum. Just be careful on over doing it. It can be sipped neat, on the rocks, or in very exotic tropical drinks that do not include sodas.
Update a few days later: Both the positive and negative effects of the nutmeg have been obliterated by whatever secret this distiller knows. I doubt that honey is the secret, but it certainly takes away from the tropical flavors, so I now dock it one point.
