If you are like me and find most spiced rums to sweet to sip, then this is an oasis in a sugary sea. In mouth profile is smooth all around and flavors are apple pie meets gingerbread. Haven't used as a mixer yet, but I guess you could if you wanted to desecrate this masterpiece. My favorite spiced rum to date

I think clove, all spice and just a touch of cinnamon as I smell and start to taste this wonderful rum. Last night I thought I had found a top spiced rum in the Brinley Shipwrecked and now this; it is truly better, more spice less sweet. Only negative is that as a sipper it has a a bit more alcohol burn on the tongue than I like.

A very unique rum that rises to a level of greatness...

This was a fantastic treat and break from the “basic” spiced rum everyone got.

Visited their factory in Sarasota and found all their rums to be above par in all areas.

Easily one of the better spiced rums, especially considering it comes from a small local distillery. Great for mixing or on its own.

Kind of ironic that I try this spiced rum less than a week before Thanksgiving. It definitely smells and tastes of pumpkin spice (nice nutmeg). Very smooth rum with good after-warmth. Never a harsh burn. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to use this as a sipping rum and in Thanksgiving-themed mixers. Pumpkin punch anyone? Doesn't work as well in colas IMHO but does make for a unique combination. Siesta Key rum is made in small batches at a family-run distillery in Sarasota, Florida which happens to be about 12 miles from Siesta Key, Florida (initially I erroneously thought Siesta Key was somewhere between Miami and Key West). This rum has won awards and I understand why. Very good stuff.

Very good for a spiced rum. You can definitely tell that they use real spices and not just an extract

Nutmeg, baking spices....this is good stuff! For the price it's unusual but in a great way.

Superbly drinkable, like a gingerbread cookie in a glass. One of the best spiced rums I have had. You don't even have to drink it, just smell it.

Smooth and sweet with honey. A touch of cinnamon and nutmeg, but easy to drink neat. Soft sweet finish, enjoyable in the mouth. It got a bit cloying on my second glass, but if you like honey, then this is quite tasty.
