Dzama Vanilla

Really good rum and nice bottle with it's vanilla bean in it! The sugarcane cultures are situated next to vanilla fields so it became a strong taste of it! Really nice!

Džama. Už jen vyslovení názvu naším severočeským přízvukem vzbuzuje respekt :-D !! Tento rum je především pro drsné frajery a motorkáře co mají koule :-D. Je silný, silně návykový a hlavně není sladký. S vanilkou se na patro dostává i dubová hořkost ze sudu, která né každému udělá dobře a 43% alkoholu dělá z tohoto afrikána pořádného drsoně. Ale pozor, má i své jemné stránky. To ale musíte nachutnat vy. :-)

Peu amateur des rhums arrangés, ce rhum est une exception.

So having tried 2 of their Vanilla infused Rhums recently im assuming this listing is for the 3 year old? (Admin - Please correct me if im wrong...) Anyways as i say above it's range really is refreshingly different. Being know as a particularly aromtaic island with plenty of fragrant flowers and vines growing in close proximity of the sugar cane used, its really does end with a complex and interesting product. I really enjoyed this aswell as the 10 year (would give the 10yr an 8/10 - was slightly smoother and more rounded) and look forward to trying them again. You get lots Vanilla initially as expected but it works really well with the soft balance of spicyness and sweetness that runs along your palate as it finishes.

Pekná fľaša s peknou etiketou. Do rumu je pridaný celý vanilkový lúsok, ktorý dáva rumu skutočne krásny vanilkový nádych. Farba je jantárovo zlatá. Je to zmes 3 - ročných rumov, ktoré zrejú v dubových sudoch po whisky Chivas Regal. Po chvíľke v pohári cítiť sladkú vanilku, oriešky a čokoládu. Chuť je najskôr sladká, potom postupne prechádza do horkosti, až na záver celkom príjemne zahreje, má totiž 43% alkoholu. Toto je určite kvalitný rum z Madagaskaru, ale pre mňa to nie je na pomalé popíjanie spolu s dobrou cigarou. Dávam tak 65 bodov zo 100.

The vanilla is there.. Even though it taste somewhat synthetic.. But all of the taste i hidden behind a screen of old dry taste.. Maybe it needs to brethe for a while..

I find this rum good but not super great. it has a pronounced vanilla flavor.The label is very beautiful.

Une superbe odeur de vanille qui surpasse l odeur même du rhum... Une entrée en bouche piquante et cette vanille qui revient...

Un très très grand moment pour ceux dont la vanille ne dérange pas..

Pour ceux qui aiment les vieux rhum et rhum traditionnels de degustation , ce rhum n est pas pour vous.le produit est bien pour un aperitif entre amis qui decouvrent le rhum.il est doux mais trop vanille a mon gout.

La gousse de vanille ne laisse aucun doute...les arômes sont biens prononcées ! Le contraste avec le goût est surprenant mais les puristes vont le proposer en apéro 😉.

Very interesting thought. Drinkability is not that high, but I am glad I tasted it, very nice experience for me. Strong Vanilla aroma makes you think that you will dring somethig sweet but as soon as you have a sip you get punched in the face by dry and harsh agricole which is full of vanilla aroma, but sugar nowhere.

Rum chutná nečekaně po vanilce. Dobrý, nasládlejší rum.

Agréable , fort rond ... Vanille très présente.
A boire plus comme apéro que digestif. Sur glace sera meilleur.

With a vanilla cane in the bottle, it goes without saying that this rum is quite sweet - almost too much to my liking. But if you are into rum with vanilla notes, you can't go wrong here.

The light taste of vanilla adds a little extra to the rum. Good value and smooth taste.
