Strong, sweet and bright nose, this rums needs time. The nose starts with caramel, vanilla, dry fruits, orange and raisins (common aromas).
The rum tingels in your mouth, because of the alcohol. It's a sweeter rum with some similarities to Panama rums. The flavors are common, the cocoa was unexpected in this combination.
