Dos Maderas Luxus

A very fine rum. It is sweet and spicy at the same time. It is not overpowering but instead very well balanced. I really enjoy this bottle.

Rigtig godt duft af frugt og krydderi, måske lidt mandel. En smule varme i smagen med rigtig god balance mellem duft og smag. Mandler og kirsebær i smagen. Eftersmagen er virkelig fantastisk og bliver hængende sindssygt længe. En meget dyb og kompleks rom. Man kan godt smage, at det virkelig er kvalitet. Forstår simpelthen ikke karaktererne på 3 og 4. Koster omkring 1000 kroner, men jeg vil meget gerne have den. Denne Dos Maderas er en positiv overraskelse, fordi jeg er ikke er fan af deres andre produkter. Dette er 9 med pil op. I really liked this rum. It has some sweetness, but nothing overpowering. I also sense a bit of spice, but very mild. All in all a well balanced experience, you can feel the premium value of this.

This is a very good rum, which is surprisingly sweet. I generally like sweet rums, and this is no exception, but the sweetness comes across a bit artificial tasting to me.

Tastes of molasses, spice, sherry, oak, vanilla, almonds, with a unique sweet additive that I can't quite place. It's definitely an excellent rum, though it falls just a bit short of the rums I've rated a 10. Still, this is a high 9 to me, and definitely worth trying if you get the chance.

This one is a very unique rum. A very unexpected yet somehow familiar flavour. It tastes like a tropical island. Coconut, vanilla bean, molasses, ripe fruits. It is an absolute explosion of sweetness and flavour that is rich,silky smooth and very easy to drink. It's not my everyday as it's very rich but still something I enjoy for something completely different at times. A very good rum that everyone should try at least once.

En rigtig dejlig og behagelig rom, med fine noter af sherry i eftersmagen.

Laka Lono Rum Club tasting on 8-30-23. Pretty amazing stuff. Pours a dark brown color. Aroma of butter, coconut and brown sugar. Flavor of honey, butter, and a bit of Dijon mustard. A perfect ethanol body. Nice finishing heat. At the end, I get a big bolus of sawn oak flavor. Fantastic rum.

Wow, so beautiful, excellent choice, fabulous finish, great flavour, sublime. Sugar added.

This one needs some air so let it breathe... Chocolate, vanilla, coconut and caramel. Much more balanced and complex than 5+3 or 5+5 and not as sweet. Excellent rum but you pay also enough..
