Malecon 2002 Rare Proof 17-Year

Geweldig. Zoet complex en bijzonder uniek in zijn eenvoud

I was unsure about this rum because of the sweetness.
But I did very much enjoy it.
It's a sweet and a little bit spicy rum that is well balanced.
I would really recommend this rum, even if you're not a fan of this kind

This is the last Malecon in the “Rare Proof” series for me to taste.
It’s like the others some of the best sweet “Spanish styled” rum in my opinion cause the ABV around 50% balance the sweetness in a good way.
From nose via palate to the rather long finish it’s spicy with hints of chocolate, cinnamon, orange and arrack.
