Bacardi Coconut

This is actually....OK! I am a little shocked because most Bacardi rum is completely underwhelming. In the US the store shelves are lined top to bottom with their many subpar variations. It is frankly a bit nauseating. This is not the worst coconut rum out there. It is also not the best but would make a very acceptable mixer. Well Bacardi.....even a broken clock is right twice a day!

I would get a different coconut rather than this one; although not bad, there are better for the price point.

It's like a young and not aged bacardi rum flavoured with coconut.
This is not a sipper, thats why my rating is 3.
But try this one or malibu with coconutwater, I love this mix.

Tasted Wednesday March 27 at Laka Lono Kill Devil Rum Club coconut rum tasting.
Appearance: clear
Aroma: salty coconut
Flavor: tasty coconut flavor, with a tangy aftertaste
Tasting notes: This is a distinctive coconut rum; its ABV of 35% places it squarely in the range of a rum rather than a liqueur. The coconut carries through without too much of a suggestion of synthetic flavors and it is not as sweet as the Don Q, making this an acceptable choice for cocktailing.

Sampled at the Laka Lono coconut rum tasting on 3-27-24. Pours clear. The aroma falls midway between coconut chemical suntan lotion and coconut water blends. Plenty of coconut flavor, but this also has a significant burn that’s much more rum-like than low abv coconut elixirs. Nutty finish.

I like the taste of coconut. Sweet, like a bounty chocolate bar. It does OK as a mixer and definitely leaves its footprints in a blended cocktail. I have Coconut Cartel on my wish list for a less artificial taste of coconut in the future.

The most perfect balanced coconut or "liquor" type rum i ever taste! Truly fantastic coconut taste, even better for mixing

I enjoyed this rum. It's extremely sweet so that could bring the ratings down? Still, very enjoyable.

This is the only Bacardi flavor I can sip by itself. That and you can add it to almost anything. The toasted coconut flavor, regardless of if it’s natural or synthetic, is amazingly accurate….if that makes sense

I’m not much for flavored rums, but used this to make Coquito and it actually turned out pretty well. The wife liked it, so I guess that’s saying something.
