Prijemna chut, lehce nasladla - zajimavy rum. 9/10

I took a miniature cap-full of this left a taste that stayed in my mouth for about two minutes. The dambdest thing is, it kept tasting different over those two minutes.
Truly wonderful tastes in the first sip. Mellow as mellow can be. That Martinique funk but it's been really mellowed out by age.

It would be wrong to call it a rainbow of true flavor, because it was a decidedly deep rum hue. However, it was definitely a rainbow of rum flavor.

Wow, how interesting this is. Smell and nose changes after 15-20 minutes. Nose point to many directons, Tobacco, liqourise, honey, candy. Fantastic taste and sweet for a Agricole. Top top rom and a favorite for sure.

Je trouve d'ailleurs le final mieux que la "gorgé".
Mais j'avais peu être trop lu d'éloge.

Aroma: Ve sklence zaujme už svou velmi tmavou mahagonovou barvou. Vůně je poněkud uzavřenější, usedlejší, musel jsem se sklenkou víc kroužit. Těžce květinové aroma, staré dřevo, starý nábytek, lékořice, sladké koření, větrovost, pralinky. Přijde mi víc do koňaku, než do rumu, připomíná mi dvacetiletou arménskou brandy Ararat Nairi. (88 b)
Chuť: Na jazyku neskutečně vyzrálý, chuť je jemná, delikátní, působí až aristokraticky. Přezrálé hrozny, rozinky, přepálené rozinky na vánočce. (95 b)
Body: 92/100
Shrnutí: Ve vůni zbytečně uzavřený, ale možná potřebuje jen víc času, aby se otevřel. Celkovým výrazem vůbec nepřipomíná rum, ale starý koňak. Musím si tady trochu rýpnout. Tím se možná vysvětluje, proč je to jeden z nejlepších agricole rumů na světě - protože agricole charakter je léty v sudu po koňaku úplně vymazán. Vzhledem k tomu, že má jen 40 %, je chuť skvělá, smekám. Ochutnal jsem na další společné ochutnávce s kamarádem a jsem moc rád, že vzorek téhle lahůdky dokázal sehnat.

From the second you uncorked the bottle, the smell of Vanilla and sweet spices takes you. Smooth, earthy delicate and elegant Rum.

I would have never thought, that I would have been able to taste this one. I have heard so much about it, but I was never able to find a bottle on the Danish rum market, so when the chance to taste the unique rum came, I was quick to say yes.

Nose: Wood, pepper, baking spices, intense caramel and a slight fruity acidity
Taste: Vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, honey, dried bananas and wood with a long and complex aftertaste that lingers for a very long time
Overall: It is really hard to describe how fantastic this rum is. It will please the biggest lover of agricole, but at the same time also please people who swear off agricole. It packs so much flavor even though it is only 40abv. If they ever release a cask strength edition of this it might be the first one to truly deserve a 11/10. Fantastic rum.

Rhum bonbon, excellent ! Sans pour autant être trop sucré. Il a ce côté agréable et non agressif mais pour autant bien complexe, les puristes du genre ne me contrediront pas. Assez satisfait du résultat vu la réputation de la bouteille.

Cuvée 1993 ("seulement" 26 ans d'age). Un agricole "doux", une explosions de saveurs, d'odeurs. Une longueur incroyable. Complexe et équilibré. Un travail fabuleux de vieillissement. Du bonheur à l'état pur !

A 1993 one ("only" 26 years old). A soft agricole rhum. With an incredible perfume and flavours explosion. An outstanding long aftertaste. It is complex and perfectly balanced. An amazing and fabulous work of aging. The perfect definition of happiness !!
