I guess this rum is the rum with the biggest price differences on the market. I bought several bottles for 36 Euro, but it's also quoted for 95 Euro. For 36 Euro it's really a great rum, for 95 Euro it's more a bad rum.
On the palate toffee and almonds. Maybe another nut. A little vanilla is also present. Finish is middle with the same tasting notes.
In my oppinion not the same taste but the same quality class as Plantation XO but on average more expensive than the Plantation XO. That is the reason why I give him just an 8 (Plantation is 9).
Completion : from my point of view much better than the 15 years old Matusalem and the little surcharge is absolute okay (if the price is under 40 Euros)
