Bottle: Upper-average, special looks
Nose: Not so distinctive, mild Zacapa like
Body: wooden,sweet, vanilla
Tail: this is the best on this one - very nice one, provocative
This one is more raw than common Zacapa 23yo, limited edition with punch of wooden barrel.

Super duft, super fed i konsisten. Smagen er fantastisk, sød, behagelig og mangfoldige. Man kan godt smage Zacapa familien.

And I've just finished my bottle. Gutted. Cask Strength 45% bottled in 2005, great depth, complexity and sweetness. Have with an ice cube to dial down the strength a little and savour the flavour.

Was chasing this bottle down for a long time and finally landed it in an auction. Nose has hint of menthol and caramel and slight alcohol burn, taste is sweet like a centenario but with peppermint flavor, finish has a bourbon burn like a foursquare. Would be a 10 if it was less sweet but if you like sweet definitely find a friend that had this bottle.
I also find a slight artificialness to the sweetness in the after taste

I waited a long time to find this and paid a healthy price for it, but it was exceptional and worth it. I sampled 1/4 of the bottle on Christmas Day, and finished it with friends at 12:30 am New Year’s Day as our NYE party continued along with a bottle of RZ La Armonia. I thought I already posted my review. Very dark color bursting with flavor from first sip and long lingering full body depth. We all sipped it neat and everyone of my rum buddies agreed Best Rum Ever.
Wunderbarer Rum. Schon beim öffnen der Flasche erfüllt es den Raum mit einem sehr Aroma reichen Duft. Leider in sehr hoher Preisliga.
The best rum in my oppinion, just sit and sip on it ❤️

I was already a fan of the 23 yo solera, but this is on a whole other level. Amazing! I paired it with one of my Maduros and an exquisite evening was had by all.

Fassstärke aber wunderbar zu trinken,nur ein angenehmes leichtes Brennen,volle Aromenexplosion Zacapa typisch aber noch stärker,angenehme leichte Süsse(wäre interessant ob da wohl nachgezuckert wurde???,ich würde sagen ja )
Tolle Aufmachung ,einzeln nummeriert und persönlich von der Zacapa Masterblenderin Lorena Vásquez signiert.
Das wird mal eine Top Sammlerrum,obwohl er noch recht problemlos zu bekommen ist hat er schon Kultstatus in der Sammlerszene und ich bin sicher dass dieser Rum in einigen Jahren heute nicht vorstellbare Preise erzielen wird.
Für mich persönlich auch eine Geldanlage ,ich kaufe unterhalb 200 Euro was ich kriegen kann.
Vor 2 Jahren bei der Rum Company noch für 86 Euro zu haben,jetzt um die 200 Euro,da lach ich nur noch über die Bankrottbanken mit ihrem Finanzsondermüll.Das ist flüssiges Gold mit ordentlichen Prozenten,und wenn der Brüssler Sauhaufen mit seinem Schrotteuro verreckt mach ich hier gleich zwei Flaschen auf
