Edwin Charley Transformation rum is part of the Appleton Estate's Proprietor’s Collection, which is a series of four rums with individually numbered hand-blown Venetian glass bottles.
The Transformation rum is distilled using both pot and column stills before aging and filtering. The bottle features an engraving of the sugar cane harvest, representing the second of four steps included in producing rum.

I have all four of the collection, and this one is a fair representation of Jamaica whites. Paying more for the bottle,I think, but still a must have for collectors. Nice when mixed, as I find there are very few white rums that can be enjoyed on their own.

Holidays spent at Jamaica tasting Rum and taking it easy. Edwin Charley Transformation has one of the nicest high end bottle and label design. Clear color. Traditional dry oaky Appleton Estate driven flavors mixed with mild vanilla to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end. Expensive mixer rum.
