Edwin Charley Foundation rum is part of the Appleton Estate's Proprietor’s Collection, which is a series of four rums with individually numbered hand-blown Venetian glass bottles.
The Foundation rum is overproof with an ABV of 63%. The bottle features a stalk of sugar cane to represent the rum's origins.
Recommendable to most
Holidays spent at Jamaica tasting Rum and taking it easy. Edwin Charley Foundation has one of the nicest high end bottle and label design. Clear color. Traditional dry oaky Appleton Estate driven flavors mixed with some truly potent jungle juice to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Super strong burn at the end. Expensive mixer rum to me.
Bought this in 2006 on a cruise to Jamaica. Just found some in my cellar. Forgot all about it. Absolutely wonderful even better after 13 years, aged beautifully. Needs a nice light a cigar to complement it. A real pleasure!
This rum is a part of an amazing selection series, it's pure white Jamaican luxury rum with a clean smooth sip. This is a show piece item for anyone's bar, having handblown glass etc. Wonderful selection
Another one of the Edwin Charley Collection, the first, in fact. Had a small sample of this one and nothing really jumped out and made this a special rum. Paying more for the bottle than contents.
