The smell is very spicy, the alcohol bites you in the nose.
It's sweet, I get burned sugar, caramel, molasses and some ripe banana, also other ripe fruits.
In the background is some earth and a musty demerara note. With dilution it turns more earthy.

The taste starts with sweetness and demerara notes. Added sugar I think.
I get burned sugar and molasses, it turns very spicy. Then some honey and bitter notes.
In the middle I get more of the burned sugar, molasses and some fruits like in Jamaica OFTD. But they are overlapped by the sweetness. Then some honey of demerara rum and the spice.

It's too sweet in my opinion. Also very spicy, but this is not the problem.
I would rate it with 67 points.

I like this aged rum a lot. Very smooth, no aftertaste and no burn. Highly recommend.

This was my rum in the 80s and Pussers changed the formula for the USA. I quit drinking the lower proof for years didn’t like it near as well, but started again the last few years. Unfortunately they did the same thing with the 15 last year. This was my first love rum.

I compared this rum directly with the Lemon Hart 151, mixing a 151 Swizzle with each. The Lemon Hart 151 is better, but the Pusser's Overproof has a somewhat similar aroma; upon first impression it's a bit lighter, and a bit earthier, and the taste is quite a bit sweeter. Upon longer examination an interesting milk-like nuance appears. Since the Lemon Hart 151 is officially unavailable in Europe, it makes sense to substitute it with the Pusser's Overproof, especially considering that in most of the old cocktail recipes of the Tiki culture lots of other ingredients and rums are added, which mask the aroma of the Lemon Hart 151.

Trocha koření, dřevitá, i přes 75% to štípe méně než třeba Tatranský 72% čaj. Na svojí sílu poměrně jemná chuť.

Overproof 75%abv blend of Trininad, Virgin Islands and Guyana
Nose: traditional pussers template, toasted dark sugar, caramel, vanilla
Taste: same as above, bit buttery
Finish: Spicy, hot, quite dry, light oak, pleasant bitterness, some cola aroma
Wonderful overproof, isnt as sweet as gunpowder, maybe not sugared at all? Has probably caramel colouring but i dont mind.
Beautiful tiki mixer, works wonders in almost anything.

Sabroso y digno de ser el ron oficial de la Royal Navy. Para acompañar con algún hielo.

Buttery aroma. A little alcohol bite. A great mixer. Fantastic painkiller. Not sure it's a sipper.

I would not say 75prct. You can also use it as a disinfectant :-)
It's a boy's drink, not a woman.

In spite of the strength of alcohol, this rum has a flavor, so that means for the maximum rating 7.
