Don Papa Small Batch

I just can't understand why this Rum splits people so. Whilst I rate this as one of my favourite sipping Rums others dislike it. All I can suggest is that you try it for yourselves. I think that you will enjoy it. Probably the best value for money Rum that you can buy

Sweet with something added. I can imagine that someone will like it, but not my cup of tea.

Don Papa is een premium aged small batch rum van het eiland Negros Occidental, de Filippijnen. Gedestilleerd uit een van de beste suikerriet in de wereld, Don Papa is eerst 7 jaar gerijpt in eiken vaten op de uitlopers van de berg Kanlaon om daarna tot perfectie gemaakt kunnen worden.

Je ne connaissais pas le rhum à part les trucs dégueux de supermarché...donc je disais ne pas aimer puis on m'a fait découvrir celui là.

Je met 7 car je débute dans la découverte du rhum donc j'aurais peu être mis + ou - selon mon ancienneté dans la dégustation de ce breuvage.

Hodne mi připomínal Diplomatico. Stojí za vyzkoušení, ještě se k němu vrátím.

I found this very unusual almost like a syrup for medical purposes. Marmalade and herby somewhat, very medicinal. There was a nice sweetness and touch of vanilla but this was swamped by an odd mint background, toothpaste! Not my taste at all but I did enjoy the experience at least.

ne buvant que rarement d'alcool , ce rhum m'a taper dans l'oeil et dans la bouche ,par sa douceur , son gout vanille tres present et sa superbe odeur .je recommande .

This rum has a vanille overkill in the nose. In the mouth, you just dont know what to do with it. I don't know what they put in this liquor, but for me, its just a chemical syrup... Hate it or love it!

However I love the design of the bottle. Very beautiful. I keep it in my collection just for that. And to get rid of unwanted guests... hehe...

Nemůžu si pomoct, ale Don Papa si mě naprosto získal.
