90% awards of this rum is for the label and bottle design and it's more a rum liqueur than a rum.
At first, the rum stands out positively: vanilla, berries, no alcohol in the taste, extreamly smooth.
However, every sip removes the thought of drinking a rum.
It is also becoming more and more intrusive. There is nothing rum-like about it.

Definitely good rum liqueur. For people who don't know rum, it's definitely impressive.
Too artificial for rum lovers. If you love sugary and very sweet liqueur a rating of 9 would also be appropriate.

Value (30€): 1.5/5

It's ok. If you aren't looking for something with much depth. I prefer the 10 year.

Really sweet rum so it's good for sipping. But on the other side it contains much more sugar than the other sweet rums

Before you drink this, you must understand that though it is labelled as an aged rum, this has a lot of characteristics of spiced rum.
For my personal taste this is great, I have a sweet tooth so the slight caramel event, and sweet orange peel taste is something I can drink all night. Lovely stuff but avoid if you don't like sweeter rums

Rhum a goûté pour la culture.
Chargé en sucre et en agrumes.

Surprised that it came from Philippines. Doesn't smell particularly amazing but the aroma of vanilla does stand out. Goes down quite smoothly with long lingering vanilla as well.

Interesting body with fruity taste. Kust enough sweetness and harshness.

Mein 11. Rating:
Nach dem enttäuschenden Botucal kommt der nächste vielversprechende Rum an die Reihe. Don Papa.

Preis: 30-35€

Geruch:
Mega lecker!
Vanillig , leicht rauchig und etwas blumig? Sehr süß, etwas chemisch aber dennoch einladend. Los probieren!

Geschmack pur (Note 6):
Anders als er riecht. Sehr eigenwillig.
Klebstoff mit Bonbongeschmack. Langanhaltend im Abgang.

Geschmack in Cola (Note 5):
Hier kommt das vanillig-blumige wieder durch. Schmeckt nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht gut. Ist mir zu künstlich.

Fazit:
Schmeckt mir zu süß und zu künstlich. Irgendwie nach chemischem Blumen-Parfüm mit Bonbongeschmack. Nicht so meins. Aus Respekt noch eine Note 5.

This had a nice amount of complexity to it, though wasn't sure how to really drink it. At first it tasted like an overly flavoured rum that was a little too sweet, but on my second tasting I actually decided that this is a very nice drink. I am sure it is great with any mixer of choice, and I found it went very well with lemonade and ginger beer.

Dark golden rum with sweet vanilla and a slight bergamot/orange/citrus finish.

Worth trying.
