This rum has a vanille overkill in the nose. In the mouth, you just dont know what to do with it. I don't know what they put in this liquor, but for me, its just a chemical syrup... Hate it or love it!

However I love the design of the bottle. Very beautiful. I keep it in my collection just for that. And to get rid of unwanted guests... hehe...

Agree with all reviews, it ain't rum for me. I gave it a 3 because of the marketing and branding, that DP does well. But its a bit of a scam. Though the regular malibu or red bull consumer may find DP the best rum there is and that's unfortunate - i believe - to the spirit of rum.

I don't know what to think about this one. More a liqueur than a rhum. This one goes on a list alongside Bumbu rum ,legendario 7 years or diplomatico reserva exclusiva

Aroma of that rum is marvelous. Sweet, vanilla, cherry. You will recognize it always. If you like sweet rums that's something for you. Ok - taste is not fantastic...but....that aroma make everything.

Definetly a sweeter rum. Descriptions all talk about vanilla and orange, but I got a strong pineapple flavor. I did not like this for sipping, but it makes an incredible daquiri

Nothing special, better spiced rum. Good for rum if you like sweet rum. Older Brother 10y is much much better

Solid Rum as a mixer, try it with coke ice cubes, good flavor, spicy, burn on the finish!

It's ok. If you aren't looking for something with much depth. I prefer the 10 year.

Really sweet rum so it's good for sipping. But on the other side it contains much more sugar than the other sweet rums
