I don't like it at all! So much added sugar.extreem sweet!

dirnkable for starters bit too too many artificial flavours for that price. Dissapointing rum.

My expectation was much more higher... It's just not my kind of taste. I can't find any deep tones at it.

Habe den Rum am Rum Fest Berlin 2015 verkostet und war bitter enttäuscht. Viel zu süß, aromatisiert und für Rumliebhaber nicht zu empfehlen.

Tout le monde m'en parlait. Même un caviste m'en avait vanté son originalité. Rhum médaillé de surcroit,je me suis dis allons-y. Chimique,chimique et encore chimique sur la vanille et un gout de bonbon style babelute pour ceux qui connaissent. Ce rhum remporte un succès incroyable et fausse du coup totalement le palais des gens qui prennent ceci pour un bon rhum. Ceci n'est pas un bon rhum. Trafiqué en tout sens et sans modération,je suis sur que ce même rhum sans ajout ne serait même pas reconnaissable.
La médaille qu'il a reçu était pour sa bouteille qui est très belle il est vrai.
D'expérience il ne faut jamais acheter de rhum pour sa belle bouteille. Toute l'attention apportée à la bouteille ne sera du coup pas apportée à son contenu.

Maybe over-infused is the right word? Really dont know what to think. If I blind tasted it I would swear to god its spiced, yet its aged...Very wierd rum that can find many many fans but I will not be one of them, the combination of flavours just didnt fit me.

Seller said to me it is a very nice tasting rum.

It did confuse me and disapoint me, it was not a rum more a rum flavor one.

Premetto che ho notato che piace a molti, soprattutto a neofiti e al genere femminile.
Ma questo non lo può salvare: troppo speziato e dociastro, a livello fastidioso, quasi pastoso, e l'invecchiamento (7 anni, giusto?) non si sente per nulla.
Secondo me, possiamo chiamarlo 'liquore speziato a base di Rum', ma non Rum e basta, così come dicono invece chiaramente il 'Kraken' o il 'Baron Samedi', ad esempio.
Se avrete inoltre la malaugurata idea di assaggiare questo rum per primo e poi non cambierete bicchiere, ne sentirete nel calice l'odore anche dopo altri 2 o 3 Rum diversi, tanto è persistente.
Ripeto: se volete un Rum che piaccia ai neofiti o alle ragazze, allora non c'è problema, visto che ha inoltre un costo abbordabile (qui in Italia sui 30€), ma, se desiderate assaporarlo in contemplazione, allora cambiate idea.

Not my regular go to rum. A small glass now and then. Novel tasting. Much like drinking a sugar drink.
