Don Papa Small Batch

Don Papa je velice zvláštní rum. Po jeho konzumaci se vám odehraje v puse několik chuťových okamžiků. Sám nevím k čemu to přirovnat, ale musím říct, že se jednalo velice o osvěžující zážitek. Do letní pohody i zimní nepohody.

It's definitely not like others. Very sweet, and candy like in taste and nose. If love trying out different tastes, then give it a try. But don't expect a traditional rum

Specifieker ga je ze bijna niet vinden. Dit is een rum voor de echte 'vanillelover'. De goudbruine kleur komt goed tot zijn recht in de prachtige authentieke fles!

De vanillesmaak bevat een vleugje citrus en smaakt erg fris. Leuke rum, voor een select publiek.

So this was rated 94 at the store. Definitely different, smells and tastes sweet, almost a chocolate finish. Not really my style but a nice deviation from the usual.

i get it as payment for wedding pictures:) when i want to drink something different i drop this one but its not my favorite. recommended for girls, i found it very similar as pyrat xo

Un rhum étonnant, doux et sucré. Il ressemble à un spiced rum.
Il manque par contre de longueur.

I find it good, but very strong fruity in the mouth may be due to added sugar? Finally it is not an old rum

No Comparison, agrums smell, fruity and woody in the mouth, medium finish !!

This one is sweet and fruity. Very dominant orange scent with a bit of vanilla and caramel. A good starter. This got me first but now feels to dominant and a a little to much liqour like. But if you start with it you will like it.

If no real experience with rum this is definitely a good starting point for a long (and probably never ending) rum journey. Taste is smooth with vanilla sweet flavor. Sure with the times and getting experience with other rums (and taste "training") you might get the impression it's only vanilla sugar and nothing more.
However to convince friends with no rum experience about the various different types and different flavors I'll usually have a bottle in my cabinet.
