Captain Morgan Private Stock

A decent rum. Golden in color. Slight after burn. Would be best with a Coke mixer.

If you enjoy Captain Morgan as a mixer, splurge a little and try this. It is well worth the difference. Strong vanilla notes and short on the draw.

The Captain Morgan Private Stock is way different from the other rums of CM. It´s way sweeter and not as thin as the Original Spiced. There are some hints of vanilla,nut,caramell and even a little citrus. In my opinion way too good to waste in a cocktail. I would recommend it on the rocks or with a little bit of water.

Good staple rum to have on hand. Price to taste ratio is good.

I'm not a fan of spiced rums but this is not a waste of money or time, especially if you love vanilla.

A bit too expensive I think. Bottle is for around 40eur here. CM Private Stock is quite sweet...too much sweet for me, you can't drink too much of it because your head will explode the next day :)

By far my favorite of the Captain Morgan line up. It has a more pronounced flavor complexity of vanilla, spice and citrus. The oakiness is the icing on the cake.

For a long time this has been my go-to drinking rum. Good over ice which brings out more of the already present and delicious, rich sugarcane taste, or with a splash of Coke to compliment the caramel undertones. Represents the best spiced flavor that Captain Morgan has to offer. A must try.

I used to LOVE this rum, it was my favourite. But since trying many rums my palette has become a little more refined and I find this is not as good as I remember. Still good, vanilla-heavy flavour, and can be enjoyed neat over ice. Not really worth the price in my opinion though.

Uncomparable with other cheap Captain Morgan products. Sweet, smooth and slightly spiced. Very good for visitors. And the final bonus is price - 24usd for 1l bottle is unbeatable
