Captain Morgan Private Stock

This rum excites people for some reason. It’s sweet, smooth and also served in a cool bottle. As far as pricing goes, it could be better. Not much more to say about this other than it’s slightly nicer than your standard Captain. It mixes wonderfully and it’s enjoyable on the rocks. I would be just as content with standard Captain rum for sweetness and mixology purposes.

As long as you like vanilla that is. This one has a bit of a strong vanilla aroma and taste, but it is offset by a good blend of spice and sweetness. The burn is stronger than I would prefer, but is tolerable. Private Stock wouldn't be my first choice for sipping, but it mixes really well and the price is great.

All the hype with very little on delivery. I found the rum to be sweet with vanilla and spice flavors. I was disappointed however it is a good rum to serve when entertaining.

This is a good sipping rum but you can tell the flavors are very artificial. I am a relatively new rum drinker and thought this was great until I tried better aged rums. Would recommend for the new drinker but probably would not buy again.

Bij opening van de fles vult de kamer zich met aantrekkelijke aroma’s van onder andere exotische kruiden en specerijen onderbouwd door tonen van vanille en kaneel. Het geheel eindigt in een lange en zijdezachte afdronk die de naam Captain Morgan waardig is, een aanrader!

I tried this for the first time a couple weeks ago and thought it was a smooth drink on the rocks. Although I would sooner spend my money on the Eldorado 12 they are both in the same price range but the Eldorado hands down a much better drink.
